SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Set Photos Show The Web Slinger’s New Duds!

Read Time:1 Minute, 49 Second

The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home is filming now, and while we had heard rumblings of a new suit, we thought it was a tactical one that we saw pictures of. As it turns out, he might be getting more than one.

ComingSoon.net has the set pictures, with some really nice views of the suit. The pictures could be considered spoilers, since he is swinging with someone, and since they aren’t official, I will not embed them here. But the suit looks similar to the Homecoming suit, but with black where there used to be blue.

No word on whether these are Stark tech suits as well, as the fate of Tony Stark will not be known until after Avengers 4. It is possible it was developed with old SHIELD tech, as it is known that Nick Fury and Maria Hill will appear in the movie.

The Spider logo is a tad different too. It is simplified and almost digital like. Remember in Age of Ultron when the Avengers had the big A logo on their uniforms? It definitely feels a bit more corporate.

The film is shaping up nicely, with Jake Gyllenhaal playing the villain Mysterio. Jon Watts has returned to direct.

We don’t know how Avengers 4, whatever it ends up being called, will shape this film, but I do think it is post Avengers 4 and not an Infinity War prequel. Hopefully the film can have as much fun as the first one did, regardless of the heartbreaking aftermath of Avengers 4.

I like the new suit more now than I did when I first saw it. The black threw me off a little. Spidey has some awesome suits that are black (and black and red) but this combination looks like a recolored blue and red suit. The more I see it though, the more I like it.

What do you think of the suit? We’ve had a lot of new ones lately, with the Spider-Man video game on PS4, and the new visually stunning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters July 5, 2019.
