Yeah… not creepy AT ALL. The first photo of the Buddi Doll that will become Chucky from the remake of Child’s Play has been released. The photo will be followed by a teaser trailer being released on Thursday. You can see the full image below:
Veteran voice actor Mark Hamill has been tapped to play Chucky. While Hamill is most famous for playing Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars film series, he is also a prolific voice actor having crafted the iconic voice for The Joker for over 20 years across Batman animated series and video games.
Child’s Play is a remake of the 1988 horror cult classic. It spawned several sequels, including Cult of Chucky which was released only two years ago in 2017.
Child’s Play is from a screenplay by Tyler Burton Smith directed by Lars Klevberg and produced by David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith. In addition to Hamill it stars Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, and Brian Tyree Henry. It’s set for release on June 21st!
