Joey Pants Is Back For BAD BOYS FOR LIFE!

Deadline is reporting that Joe Pantoliano will reprise the role of the long suffering Captain Howard in Bad Boys for Life, the third film in the Bad Boys franchise.

Pantoliano has had a long, successful career as a character actor that’s spanned over forty years with memorable roles in The Goonies, The Matrix and HBO’s The Sopranos, for which he won an Emmy.

Martin Lawrence and Will Smith will be reprising the roles of Detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery, respectively.

Michael Bay, who helmed the first two installments, won’t be back for the third. Instead Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will take over directing duties. The duo came to prominence with the film Black, which follows the story of a fifteen year old girl in a gang in Brussels who falls for a boy from a rival gang…sound familiar?

There’s no word on the plot of Bad Boys For Life, but filming is expected to start next year in January. And it’s evident that stars Smith and Lawrence are excited to be reuniting a second time, as they let up social media last month when they each confirmed their returns:
