Title: Where’d You Go Bernadette?
Release Date: March 22, 2019
Two words as to why this one is worth noting: Richard Linklater. His newest film is a book adaptation about a 15 year old girl tracking down her missing anxiety-ridden mother. In the process, she learns about her mother’s troubled past. It is branded as a comedy/drama, so it feels like a serious flick with some light hearted moments. Cate Blanchett, Judy Greer, Wonder Woman 1984’s Kristen Wiig, and Laurence Fishburne all star. Linklater is a unique filmmaker, so he’s sure to put his own spin of the existing story. He’s best at showing the journey of the human spirit, so expect a lot of that here.
