SCOOP CONFIRMED: Kaley Cuoco Is Voicing HARLEY QUINN For Her DCU Show
Back in May, I reported right here in this space that it looked like Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco would be voicing Harleen Quinzel in the upcoming animated Harley Quinn show that’s set to arrive down the line on the DC Universe streaming service. Today, it’s my pleasure to inform you that Cuoco is, indeed, playing The Joker’s paramour.
To coincide with New York Comic Con, the good folks at Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment prepared a 54 second teaser for Harley Quinn, as well as some official casting bits to share. I was fortunate enough to get access to some of what they’re cooking up over there earlier today and it looks great. The tone is really funny, and almost Deadpool-like with its fourth-wall breaking wit.
And now they’ve released that very same teaser for all to see:
But that’s not all!
Diedrich Bader, who I also mentioned in that report, is playing Batman- just as he did on Batman: The Brave and The Bold.
The Hollywood Reporter has also just confirmed other cast members I mentioned in May’s report, including Alan Tudyk and Tony Hale.
All in all, it’s very cool to have this Harley Quinn story confirmed. Even if the trades, like THR, are unlikely to give Revenge of The Fans credit for calling it back in May.
C’est la vie.
But at least you, my fellow Revengers, know the deal.
