The third season of Marvel’s Daredevil is coming soon. When it arrives, you will see a new (yet veteran) face in the cast – Lesley Ann Warren.

Marvel has a character description:

Warren will play Mrs. Falb, described as a woman of high morals and steely resolve. A true survivor, Mrs. Falb is uncompromising in her beliefs, even if it means making powerful enemies.

It is possible that Mrs. Falb is someone else entirely – someone like Matt Murdock’s mother. In the comics, his mother was a Nun at a convent – the convent that found him when the world thought him dead. I wouldn’t be surprised if the story was adapted that way.

Of course, it could be an entirely new character, and that last part of the description: “Mrs. Falb is uncompromising in her beliefs, even if it means making powerful enemies,” could bring her into Wilson Fisk’s world. We shall see.

Warren is best known for her role as Ms. Scarlett in the 1985 Cult Classic movie Clue. She has been recently seen in USA Network’s In Plain Sight and shows like Will and Grace and Desperate Housewives. There’s also a pretty good screen test she did for the role of Lois Lane in Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie floating around that you should check out.

We’ve yet to see a full trailer, but Netflix has released a few teasers, one of which shows Fisk in his iconic white coat.

Who do you think Lesley Ann Warren is playing? Is Mrs. Falb someone from the comics that I am not familiar with? Or could my mother theory come to fruition?

Season 3 of Marvel’s Daredevil debuts exclusively on Netflix October 19th, 2018.

“Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world or embracing his destiny as a hero.”
