SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME To Give Spidey A Black Suit?

Spider-Man: Far From Home is currently filming, and spy photos have revealed an all-black Spidey suit. Photos snapped show an all-black suit with visible white eyes leading many to speculate if the coincidental timing is due to the release of Sony’s other Spidey centric film, Venom. Aside from director Ruben Fleischer remaining tight lipped when asked, we have been given no indication that Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will be crossing paths with Venom or the rest of the Sony’s Universe of Marvel Comics.

Here’s the Instagram post:

Spider-Man: Far From Home is 10 months away from release, and the third film out from Marvel next year. The last time we saw Holland’s Spider-Man, he was dusting off in Avengers: Infinity War after Thanos’ finger snap. As many suspected, Spidey didn’t meet his demise in Infinity War and would return in Far From Home. The black suit is unlikely to mean Far From Home will feature Hardy and Venom, but could Holland’s Peter Parker have encountered the symbiote for a short period, and the events of Far From Home are just prior to Venom?

A black Spidey-suit for Holland gives viewers a fourth Spider-Man costume in the MCU. Captain America: Civil War featured his Tony Stark gifted suit, Spider-Man: Homecoming saw the basic home-made suit, and Avengers: Infinity War saw the Iron Spider suit also designed by Stark. This black suit in Far From Home along with recent murmurs of when the Venom review embargo will lift, only fuels speculation of Holland’s inclusion into the latter film.

Venom is set to release October 5th, and Spider-Man: Far From Home is expected to release July 5th, 2019. We would like to hear from you, so feel free to comment below.

Think there’s anything to this?
