The CW Released New Trailers For BLACK LIGHTNING and THE FLASH

The Arrowverse shows and Black Lightning will be back before you know it. The CW is hyping up the premieres, and just dropped new looks at Black Lightning and The Flash. You can watch them below.

This preview is quick, and details the Pierce family’s continued battle with Tobias Whale, who will be even more severe this season. It also shows a sneak peek of some new blood too.

Jefferson Pierce is a man wrestling with a secret. Nine years ago, Pierce was gifted with the superhuman power to harness and control electricity, which he used to keep his hometown streets safe as the masked vigilante Black Lightning. However, after too many nights with his life and his family on the line, he left his Super Hero days behind. Almost a decade later, Pierce’s crime-fighting days are long behind him…or so he thought. But with crime and corruption spreading like wildfire, Black Lightning returns — to save not only his family, but also the soul of his community.

Black Lightning premieres Tuesday, October 9 at 9/8c on The CW.

The Flash preview teases the new villain, and we even hear the voice of the new Harrison Wells. It also addresses something that has been in the show since season 1 – the newspaper headline of The Flash disappearing.  Barry asks his daughter: “I need to know. In the future…what happens to me?

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo. Will parenthood be the challenge that finally slows The Flash down?

The Flash premieres Tuesday, October 9 at 8/7c on The CW.
