EL FANBOY: ‘Latest Buzz on Superman’s Presence At SDCC, State of Shared of DCU With Batman, Much More!’
On this action-packed 50 minute edition of the El Fanboy Podcast, host and Revenge of The Fans Editor-in-Chief Mario-Francisco Robles takes us on a ride through the latest DC gossip he’s been hearing through back-channels. They have to do with everything from Henry Cavill’s Superman, to the continuity for Matt Reeves’ The Batman, to SDCC plans, a big possible change for Aquaman, and an intriguing tidbit he’s heard about Krypton.
There’s a lot to discuss here.
With regard to Cavill’s Superman, MFR has heard some pretty interesting things about WB/DC’s plans for him at SDCC 2018 and the different things they’re mulling over for him, and how they may tie-in to Shazam.
Then he turns his attention over to Batman, to discuss why all of the rumors surrounding his next cinematic outing seem to contradict one another- and why it actually has to do with the current behind-the-scenes philosophy for how to handle the “Shared Universe” concept moving forward.
Then it’s over to Aquaman, as he’s heard how the studio is feeling about the film and what it could mean for the film’s December 21 release date.
Lastly, he drops a Krypton rumor and gives his two cents on what to make on all of the Star Wars chatter lately.
If you’d prefer a text version of this show, hang tight! If any of the rumors/gossip he shares here seems to strike a nerve, he’ll be sure to write up a report on it at the start of next week.
