SOLO: Ron Howard Confirms He’s Brought A Staple From His Oeuvre To That Galaxy Far, Far Away
If you’re a fan of Ron Howard’s, you know there’s one key thing he loves to sneak into his movies: His brother, Clint.
And it looks like even shooting the same, exact script Phil Lord and Chris Miller had been using when they were directing Solo: A Star Wars Story, Howard found a way to bring his brother into that galaxy far, far away during the film’s extensive reshoots.
The director took to twitter to reveal that Clint has found his way into the Star Wars universe, proving that Ron’s a man of his word after telling a fan that his brother will pop up at some point last August:

And that’s not all that Howard had to say about Solo: A Star Wars Story this weekend. He also revealed that post-production on the film has officially wrapped and is ready to be shipped off to theaters! Here’s what he said on Sunday afternoon:
“That’s a wrap on post production! Wow. What a movie-making adventure it’s been! Thanks to a terrific cast & extraordinary folks behind the camera as well. You’ve worked so hard to fully realize this cool story. Hope fans have a blast!“
And so, with that tweet, the long and winding road that Solo: A Star Wars Story has taken towards completion has come to an end. The film, which was first discussed by George Lucas and Lawrence Kasdan prior to the sale of Lucasfilm to Disney in 2012, has seen some incredible highs and lows on its way to the big screen. But it looks like- under the sure hand of a veteran captain like Ron Howard- the Millennium Falcon will land safely in theaters on May 25.
