A Music-Only Version of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Is Available

Have you ever watched Star Wars and thought “This movie would be so much better if I could only hear John Williams score.” Well, now you can find out if that is true or not.

Rian Johnson took to Twitter to reveal that his favorite special feature is indeed a music only cut of The Last Jedi but there are certain criteria that must be met in order to have it:

So if you want to experience this, you have two options: Wait a little bit longer for the blu-ray, or download digitally – but you must download the Movies Anywhere app.

I have the Movies Anywhere app. It is great. I have my Google Play and my Amazon account linked, and my digital movies all appear in one place. I am #TeamPhysicalMedia so I never had a huge digital collection. I didn’t want to redeem my digital codes because I would need to have all kinds of accounts and passwords and things; or I had to succumb to getting an iTunes account. Neither were options I was excited about. But with this app, I now have a pretty decent digital movie collection too. The codes to redeem the digital come with blu-ray, so waiting a couple extra weeks means I get two copies of the movie for the price of one. I will buy the movie on blu-ray, and redeem the digital code on Movies Anywhere.

I wasn’t ever asking for a music only version of Star Wars but I am certainly intrigued. I’ll be sure to check out when I finally get my copy. If you have experienced it already, let us know how it is in the comments below.
